Think of the cards as ink blot cards or pictures in a magazine. Imagine the text is the body of a post, and the card is there to illustrate. What is it about? There’s no right or wrong way to interpret them. They’re supposed to talk to YOUR subconsciousness, not to some other random person not currently present. You’ll get better at it in time, too.
- Don’t ask what WILL happen. Tarot will not know. Self-fulfilling prophecy is a thing.
- Ask what must happen before something else can happen. Such as “What do I have to know/do before I can get hired by XYZ.”
- Ask questions like “What belief do I hold that probably isn’t true?” “What can I change to make my life better in 5 minutes?” “What should I write a blog post about?”
Don’t focus on fortune telling, focus on who you are, how to get to your goals, how to self-improve, and improve your life… And that sort.
