I was just watching a video from a former call girl explaining how she talked herself into sex work by calling herself “a liberated woman.” She hated it, but needed the money. That is not liberation. That is oppression of the worst degree. That said, if I had done sex work the way I wanted to, that would have been liberation. But no, I suppressed my wish to do it by believing that sex work would make me faulty and ultimately unlovable by a guy I’d love. When we seek liberation, it must come from within ourselves, not from other people’s idea of what is “liberated”. Your liberation is my oppression and vice versa. I would feel utterly violated in a sexual relationship with a woman, for instance, but for someone else, that’s exactly what they need to feel liberated.
If you wish to liberate yourself – and I wish that for you – you must give yourself the permission to say and do what you wish you had had the permission to say and do the whole time. You don’t need to convince yourself that “this is good” if you are getting liberated. I’ll be preaching polyamory and polygamy on this blog, but don’t go into it if you have to convince yourself to believe that’s the superior way of living. You don’t have to be superior, either. Not the most advanced. You are where you are, and that’s it. You are who you are, and that’s it. You don’t need to BE any better, you just need to be FREER to be… Faulty.
I may wish to be what other women dread, but that is my liberation, to have found out through a psychic relationship with the men who love me, that they do, in fact, love me for what I am, including, not limited to, not at all limited to the fact I like men a lot and I like a lot of men… A lot. To find out you’re partly loved for being exactly the thing that everyone else tries to weed out of you.
And yes, I had to accept that at the end of the day, Sigmund Fucking Freud was right and I was fucking wrong: we are exactly that simple. At least.. I am. What it all is about, at the end of it all, is about sex: avoiding it with the wrong ones and pursuing it with the right ones. That is, if you are sexual at all, it seems. And the asexuals DO NOT understand what the point is in it. They do not understand what they ask when they ask us to give it up. They, too, think they’re liberating you by telling you that you don’t have to have sex, but that is not the way a sexual person feels: we want it, need it, and live for it. And sure, there’s the pursuit of divine knowledge, even achieving it, and it still doesn’t come close to the need for a good fuck and the love of a sexy man.
So there. Today’s sermon is over. Feel free to comment.
